Our Pods (small teams of 5 or less) are comprised of personnel with similar skillsets to ensure mentorship, understanding, and peer support. Role: Pueo is interested in bringing aboard a TS/SCI cleared Cybersecurity Officer at the expert level to join our team in Reston, VA. The Cybersecurity Officer maintains and improves the protection of network and communication infrastructure and applications. This critical infrastructure is used daily by warfighters on the ground as well as senior-level policy makers. Responsibilities: Evaluate and implement IC and DOD compliant policies, standards and guidelines covering application security, data security, disaster recovery, continuity of operations, and contingency planning, Have a firm understanding of IC and DOD Risk Management Frameworks, continuous monitoring, risk scoring, and risk-management experience, Act as a high-level designer, defining the framework of core design features and functions of the program objective to be implemented, Be a SME in one or more of the following specialties: cloud and systems architectures, security architecture, cloud applications and storage, high performance computing, and software development. Qualifications: Have an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly, Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, Possess twelve years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience, Candidates must possess DoD 8570 IAT III level certification.
