General Information: Job title: Interim Nursing Home Administrator Position Status: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; temporary position Position Summary: The Interim Nursing Hom e Administrator position plans and coordinates Crest View services with those of the medical and administrative systems. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for managing, directing, and supervising the laundry, housekeeping , and CBRF departments , and the skilled nursing facility. Defines and maintains the standards within the institution. Assesses the quality of care rendered. Initiates the development of policies and procedures that govern services under his or her position control. Responsible for staff performance, staff recruitment, staff retention, and staff development. Collaborates with other departments and agencies regarding resources and services for improved patient care and staff development. Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a budgeted process for staffing and services rendered. Evaluates the quality and cost-effectiveness of staffing and services within the goals of the Serves as spokesperson for matters and represents the nursing home with professional nursing and related organizations. Participates in appropriate meetings and committees. Participates in other assigned duties as designated by the Long-Term Care Administrator. Encourages and supports research and improvement studies that can make meaningful contributions to the quality of nursing services. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree, required. 2+ years of experience working in a nursing home setting, required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Intermediate to proficiency with computers is required. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
