Riverhills Neuroscience is the region's premier provider of comprehensive neuroscience care, providing complete diagnosis, education, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals with diseases and injuries of the nervous system. The Neurology Department at Riverhills Neuroscience is looking for employees who are passionate about medical care to fill our opening as Medical Assistant ( MA ) . Located at the Norwood location. No Weekends and No holidays. This is a busy growing office. Part Time and PRN positions available. Benefits for Part Time Employees: Pay based on experience, minimum $18 401k with Profit Sharing and Company Match Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Continuing Education Reimbursement Uniform Allowance Free Parking The Medical Assistant ( MA ) fulfills patient care responsibilities in both the clinical and administrative areas as assigned that may include: Rooming patients and preparing them for exams Collecting and documenting patient history Assisting physicians with various procedures Obtaining lab results, testing reports, and hospital notes Maintaining exam rooms, procedure rooms, and equipment according to protocol Other duties as assigned Background and Experience RMA or CMA or other Medical Credential preferred EMR experience preferred Excellent customer service skills 1 - 2 years MA experience preferred Strong attention to detail Superior verbal and written skills are a must If you are interested in becoming part of a world-class healthcare team, please apply today.
