POSITION SUMMARY Jireh Semiconductor is offering a paid Process Engineering Internship in the area of Photolithography for Summer 2023. This is intended to be a three-month internship spanning the summer months and will be on site at our Hillsboro, OR facility. We are looking for a passionate, driven Engineering student who would like the opportunity to learn more about the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry. The Process Engineer (Litho) will work closely with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure robust manufacturing processes are established and maintained. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Shadow/receive mentorship from a current Jireh Process Engineer Learn about the wafer fabrication process Understand the photolithography process Work independently (but with support) on a project to support the process engineering team in their goals This project will be automation related, designed by your mentor to both add value to the organization and allow you to gain experience in a specific area of interest relating to your degree PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Regularly required to sit or stand and move around the facility and in class 100 clean room. The ability to face technical challenge and high pressure in mass production line. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Majoring in an Engineering discipline or Materials Science; Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Material Sciences preferred Undergraduate and graduate students will both be considered. Software knowledge/experience on semiconductor equipment automation setup is preferred Preference will be given to those attending school in Oregon OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Strong Microsoft Excel skills required, VBA experience a plus Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Strong ownership and passion for success Ability to work with people one on one and in a team environment Basic Coding skills is a plus DOE and Statistical Data analysis skills is a plus Demonstrated model based problem solving skills in work area is a plus About Jireh Semiconductor: COMPANY INFORMATION: Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS) is committed to excellence in design, manufacturing, and responsiveness to our customers through the continued development of new technologies, products and innovative solutions.
