Credentialing Manager DigitalOptometrics is an optometric-telemedicine company focused on performing comprehensive remote eye examinations. We are rapidly growing, expanding throughout the United States, Canada and Germany. Tele-Optometry by DigitalOptometrics utilizes new advancements in technology making comprehensive eye exams convenient to patients. As an important step in our growth process, we are expanding our team with the addition of a Credentialing Manager. This is a full-time salaried position that can be performed from one of our base offices in Lake Success, NY, Cincinnati, OH or Remotely. The Credentialing manager will lead a team that credentials optometrists internally and/or assists clients in the credentialing process with various insurance carriers throughout the United States. Including Medicare and Medicaid enrollments. You'll be joining a highly motivated and adaptive team that will be growing along with our company and clients. Having an in-depth knowledge of vision and medical credentialing will be vital to our success. Creative & proactive problem solving in overcoming credentailing challenges with the collaboration of our teams will be vital. Primary Responsibilities: Provide leadership and structure to our Credentialing Team Evaluate and collaborate with colleagues & leadership on best practices Develop and administrate internal policy & procedures for efficient credentialing operations Maintain relationships with clients, via email, calls and virtual meetings during onboarding and as needed for sustainment Support and collaborate with multiple internal departments (Recruitment, Finance, HR, Operations, Implementation) for doctor onboarding, credentialing and sustainment for clients Work with insurance companies on the national and state level during the credentialing process Work within the credentialing software platform QGenda for provider and document management. Attend leadership and client meetings as needed Provide timely status updates during processes in support of team timelines. Maintain Exclusion, sanction and background checks via software support for doctor panels Required Qualifications: 7+ years credentialing Experience Government Enrollments Medicare Medicaid Commercial carriers Vision Medical 4+ years leadership experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Experience working in a multi-state credentialing organization Ready to learn, adapt and grow For Remote Employment: Reliable internet connection with bandwidth no less than 10 Mbps Up/Down Beneficial Qualifications: Prior remote work and remote management experience Excel/Sheets proficiency Project Management experience Strong communication skill set for engaging doctors and administrators Powerpoint or Presentation skill set for visual delivery of department operational data points Job Posted by ApplicantPro
