LSINC Corporation is a dynamic, innovative firm that is rapidly growing. We support commercial and federal clients with engineering services, product development, and production. Currently, we are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. General Characteristics: The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance functions including, but not limited to light plumbing, light electrical, light carpentry, and minor repairs. The position will also assist with the delivery and pick up of various items, shipping, and receiving, and organizing the Manufacturing area. Assist in monitoring environmental systems, fire systems, and security systems. Grounds keeping such as mowing, edging, weed eating, bush trimming, pressure washing, etc. Will maintain company vehicles. Duties: Perform basic repairs and maintenance of the facilities Perform light plumbing, electrical, masonry, and carpentry, as needed to maintain the facility Arrange and meet outside repairmen called in for more major repairs and maintenance Perform routine maintenance on company machinery and equipment Assist with shipping and receiving Make company deliveries and purchases as needed Assist with organizing parts and materials in a shop environment and maintaining a clean work environment Keep all tools and company-owned equipment secure, clean, and in good working order Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent A minimum of two years of experience performing facility maintenance Working knowledge of basic carpentry, building electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Must have valid Drivers License with a good driving record Preferred experience with Simplex fire systems Preferred experience working with Johnson Controls (JCI) Non-supervisory role Physical Demands: Must be able to move, carry and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to climb and work from a ladder Ability to safely use power tools, lawn mower, and other equipment Operate forklift, and/or pallet jack Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, push and pull Requires occasional time in an office environment, in front of the computer screen, utilizing various office equipment and Microsoft applications.
