Our Maintenance Director will be responsible for the day-to-day physical plant operations of the community, they will manage the preventative maintenance programs, and supervise the facility department staff. Hire, train, and manage staff. Stock and maintain the storeroom, order supplies according to the budget; work with various vendors. Receive, process, and addresses community maintenance work orders Maintain high standards of service Manage apartment turnover process. Ensure a preventative maintenance program is in place and is being implemented. Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting, and water features. If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat: Positive team player attitude and love working with people! Minimum three years experience in managing apartments, senior living, or large complex maintenance. Good customer skills; well-rounded technical maintenance skill set. Experience with HVAC, electrical, drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance. Ability to use general maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment; participate in on-call rotation. Previous experience working in commercial property, Hotel, Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
