We take pride in working together as a compassionate team in our family orientated environment; and are looking to expand our team with a Director of Staff Development/Infection Prevention Nurse (RN). You will be the champion of education, have the passion, commitment and drive to enrich the skills of all clinical staff who strive to deliver the highest quality care to our patients and residents every day. Schedule: 8 hours Successful candidates will have: A South Carolina or compact state license to work as a Registered Nurse Experience in a Long Term Care facility is required A passion for people and desire to make a difference The Staff Devlopment/Infection Prevention Nurse is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training and wound care management. In-service education and a Certification Training Program (if applicable) for the nursing assistants as required by regulations. Work with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This position also provides direct resident/patient care.
