Distribution Center Technician Job description PURPOSE Distribution Center operations include: receiving, picking, shipping, vendor compliance, materials handling, safety, and maintenance. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS One year warehousing / distribution experience (or relevant work experience) Ability to stand/walk for eight hour shifts and lift up to 40 lbs. Excellent computer skills and aptitude Focus and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a team Thrives in a fast-paced environment Forklift certification a plus Available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may vary slightly) DUTIES Breaking down shipments Building boxes Sweeping and light janitorial Picking inventory Ticketing product Inventory counts Assembling kits Other duties as needed Go see Inside Petzl America's Distribution Center This position is non-exempt and qualifies for full health and welfare benefits, including a generous paid time off policy, a profit sharing plan, 401(k) plan with match, and an extensive list of perks.
