Description:
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a support staff to work in the Manlius area with a young man with disabilities. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to work with him on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 7am to 4pm, and Friday afternoons 1-4pm. Willing to consider applicants for any or all shifts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting him at home and during community outings, encouragement and support with utilizing social skills and supporting him with his personal care. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable vehicle, driver's license, Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Flexibility to fill-in for other staff a plus.
