Paint Supervisor SUMMARY: FNA Group is a family-owned, world class manufacturer of pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment. With over 1 million square feet of production space across 4 locations, we continue to grow our business and our family. We are currently seeking a Paint Supervisor who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting in an expanding business. Primary Purpose: The Paint Supervisor will supervise team members in a manufacturing environment: plan and assign work, apply policies and procedures, recommend improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions while meeting or exceeding established production requirements. Job Description: Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions, and report any deficiency promptly to management team. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and/or efficiency. Direct, coordinate, and monitor the activities of employees engaged in the paint department. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services. Maintain operations data, such as cycle time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results. Ensure inventory levels are adequate to meet production demands. Qualifications: Previous experience supervising and directing a paint shop in a manufacturing setting. At least six months of work experience with powder coating or similar process. Previous work experience or familiarity with powder coat equipment (guns, booth, washer, dry oven, cure oven). Must be able to navigate or possess some knowledge / familiarity with paint booth system applications. Proven ability to identify creative solutions to problems. Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes (process improvement, LEAN, 5 S's, etc.). Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to instruct and train direct reports. Ability to multitask in managing direct reports, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Some basic computer knowledge. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
