The part time Recreational Specialist is responsible to assist with the Resident Empowerment and Achievement Program as described below. This program also oversees the agency's Supported Employment Program, Food Pantry, Mercy Enrichment and Breakthrough Program, an outreach and education program. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with the Educational/Employment Specialist for calendar of events Expand the department and activities available to participants (i.e. music, arts, hobbies, sewing, exercise) Support Food Pantry, Supported Employment and Breakthrough Program Expand the involvement of volunteers within our programs Collaborate with participants and staff to identify ongoing and changing needs for ADL, educational, job training, employment and social interaction workshop and opportunities.
