This Position may be eligible for Remote and/or hybrid based on customer discretion. Responsibilities Sayres is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Logistics Analyst with Secret Clearance in Washington, DC. Duties could include but are not limited to the following: Assist in the planning, execution, integration and oversight of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and projects, and shall provide ILS expertise to assist in developing innovative process improvements and solutions. Provide expertise in commercial ship, US Navy ship, and FMS requirements pertaining to ship supportability issues including life cycle support as they relate to DoD acquisition policies and procedures and other applicable statutory or regulatory requirements. Provide logistics, technical, and in-depth operational knowledge in MSC policies and procedures as well as FMS policies and procedures. Provide in-depth knowledge of U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) rules, Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) issues or other regulatory body requirements as needed Minimum 15+ years Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines Minimum 5 years supervisory experience leading teams in relevant environments Experience with Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Military Sealift Command (MSC) ILS procedures and processes; Foreign Military Sales; Supervisory experience; experience communicating Logistics concepts to SES/Flag level personnel Secret Clearance Excellent communication and organization skills Preferred first-hand experience with USN Service Craft/Auxiliary Ships or Small Boats The position description is only meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities and accountabilities performed by the incumbents of this position.
