The Millennium Group (TMG) is an award winning business process outsourcing firm focused on mail, reception, and related office support services for Fortune 500 companies, professional service firms, and institutions of higher education. Our Accounting department is currently expanding, and we are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our corporate team in Tinton Falls, NJ. Under the direct supervision of the Finance and Administration Manager, the Accounting Associate will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and client billing according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner. Essential Responsibilities: Review, verify accuracy, and resolve any discrepancies for vendor invoices, billing change forms, Expense/Charge reports, AMEX reports/receipts, and other items submitted for payment; dispute items as needed. Ensure all transactions are in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Process vendor invoice batch utilizing Access database; verify proper authorization, approvals, and coding on invoices. Verify billing is aligned with client contracts/ pro formas. Create, update, and audit various Billing, Accounts Payable, Vendor, and internal documents and reports for accuracy; maintain and update Vendor Reference Guide, Asset database. Process and compile weekly, biweekly, and monthly billing reports utilizing Freshbooks. Work with Human Resources, Accounting, and the Operations Management team to audit and verify various reports, changes, expenses, and notations. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, and the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality. Demonstrates excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced working environment.
