The Production Manager is a highly engaged leader of people that creates an environment conductive to continuous improvement and engagement. They develop a culture of respect and accountability that fosters ownership of all levels by balancing safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee satisfaction.Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and audit procedures for safe and efficient operation of manufacturing processes. Lead and participates in task and departmental equipment and procedure training. Participates in audits of safety policy, PPE, and training. Lead quality assurance program and audit testing requirements. Prepare monthly, quarterly production plans from ERP planning, outlining need for labor, outsource, and equipment resources. Support supervisors by representing them to other parts of the company, on personnel issues, and as a substitute during absences. Collaborate on cost analysis of methods, and equipment for future changes Would you be a good fit? We are looking for an individual with relentless determination to make things happen! They should have exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with employees on all levels. A keen eye for detail is needed to ensure quality at the level our customers expect. In addition, a candidate should have a BS degree in a related field and 5 years of experience in metal fabrication manufacturing management, or 10 years of experience in manufacturing with 5 years of production management experience. Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to read drawings, tape measure, and decimals are also required.
