YMCA Camp Cormorant offers more than just a job - we offer the chance to make a lasting difference for the youth in our community! Beautiful Camp Cormorant is located on Big Cormorant Lake by Lake Park, Minnesota. Wranglers teach youth basic horse riding skills and lead trail rides. Wranglers are responsible for the care of the horses, including feeding, watering, grooming, tacking, and healthcare needs. They also take care of the barn, water buckets, water troughs, cleaning stalls, and keeping all areas of the barn organized. No day at camp is just a typical day! The base pay for this position is $400/week You will be paid a Weekly Rate of pay and paid bi-weekly. Free room and board at the camp - you will need to live at camp. Wrangler Qualifications: At least 18 years old 6 months of experience working with youth At least 1 year of horsemanship experience, including the care of horses First Aid & CPR Certification for Adult, Child, and Infant Current driver's license and YMCA insurance approved driving record The YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties conducts a pre-employment background check on all employees.
