YMCA Camp Cormorant offers more than just a job - we offer the chance to make a lasting difference for the youth in our community! Beautiful Camp Cormorant is located on Big Cormorant Lake by Lake Park, Minnesota. The Waterfront Staff will plan swimming activities at the camp's waterfront. This position will deliver swim activities that are safe, fun and appropriate to the camper's age and abilities and will assist in the management of the physical operation of the waterfront's facilities and equipment. The base pay for the Camp Lifeguard is $400/week (Additional pay may be given for experience and/or education.) You will be paid a Weekly Rate of pay and paid bi-weekly. Free room and board at the camp - you will need to live at camp. Camp Lifeguard Qualifications: Prior to campers coming to camp: Complete the MN Boating Safety Course (online) At least 18 years old 6 months experience working with youth Lifeguard Certification CPR Certification for Adult, Infant, and Child First Aid Certification Current driver's license and YMCA insurance approved driving record The YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties conducts a pre-employment background check on all employees.
