As a Branch Member Financial Specialist, you will work one-on-one with members to assist them with their financial needs. You may thrive as a Branch Member Financial Specialist if you: Enjoy working with people and making them smile Look forward to gaining an expansive knowledge base Are able to lend an empathetic, listening ear Embrace the challenge of problem-solving and finding solutions Find fulfillment in helping members meet their unique needs Have a knack for maintaining accuracy while working with numbers Your day may include: Opening and closing accounts Processing transactions, such as deposits and withdrawals, cash advances, transfers, issuing cashier's checks, etc. Completing various forms, such as ACH authorizations, stop payment orders, and wire transfer forms Assisting members with checking account balancing Responding to member inquiries and performing relevant research Providing information about OCCU products and services when it may be beneficial to the member and their specific needs Providing notary services Assisting the Branch Manager with related duties as requested You might be a great fit if you have: Member and/or customer service experience Cash handling experience Strong communication skills Bonus points if you have previous financial institution experience!
