1:1 Part-time Respite Support Staff Need - (JOB # AO-AS) Exceptional Family Resources is currently seeking a patient, understanding Direct Support Professional to support a young man in the Liverpool area. This position requires a support staff to assist this young man with in home Respite Services. The main focus of these support services to assist this young man with reinforcing positive communication styles as well as assisting with behavioral supports. This is a part-time position but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency. Starting pay : Starting pay is $17/hour and increases with years of relevant experience. Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 4:00pm-7:00pm or Wednesday and Friday 4:00pm-7:00pm Location: Liverpool, NY (Bayberry Area) Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills. No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community. All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check completed by Exceptional Family Resources (EFR). EOE EFR is a qualified employer in the New York State Health Care and Mental Hygiene Worker Bonus (HWB) Program. Employees who meet the minimum required hours may be eligible for up to two bonuses, with a total maximum payout of $3000.
