SUMMARY Compiles and maintains accounts payable records and processes checks for payments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Checks and approves all vouchers for payment. Verifies departmental approval and correct pricing when applicable. Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary. Processes accounts payable checks for payment. Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists in monthly closings and verifies accurate end of period cutoffs. Processes ad reimbursement and donation bill back. Prepares daily bank deposit for all Accounts Receivable checks. Distributes mail. QUALIFICATIONS T o perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and; Six months to one year related experience and/or training or; Equivalent combination of education and experience.
