Met-Con, Inc., a rapidly growing structural steel fabrication and erection company, is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager for our Cocoa, Florida location. Job Description: The Construction Project Manager position is responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of management and operations to result in the efficient, safe and cost-effective completion of Met-Con's structural steel projects. The individual is responsible for performing specific tasks as described below, which are a part of the position. Plan and coordinate with corporate management all aspects of the material acquisition, detailing, fabrication and on-the-job steel erecting operation. Working at the main Met-Con office and at temporary field offices as required. Interface with engineers, detailers, shop and field personnel and client representatives in all facets of managing projects. Assist purchasing and drafting departments in materials procurement. Prepare estimates/proposals for extra work requested by customers. Promote safe construction practices and positive working relationships. Requirements: Construction management degree - Associates (or equivalent experience) 3 years' experience in a related field Computer literate BIM experience is desirable Detailing experience with Tekla Structures will be an asset (but this is NOT a detailing job) Valid Driver's License Met-Con, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
