Parking Lot Sweeping Truck Driver

Job Purpose This position will operate a parking lot sweeping truck to clean commercial parking lots. Driver will drive sweeper truck to properties on a designated route to sweep up trash with sweeper truck and perform manual trash pick up and emptying of garbage cans. This is a third shift position. Duties and Responsibilities Clock time on a smartphone using mobile time application. Perform DOT vehicle inspection using mobile time application on a smartphone. Safely drive a sweeper truck to properties on a designated route to sweep trash in parking lot areas. Walk properties and use a backpack blower to blow off sidewalks. Walk properties and pick up trash from areas where the sweeper truck couldn't access. Empty trash cans on properties. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record. Must pass pre-employment drug screen test. Must pass background check. Must work nights including weekends. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to sit for long periods of time while operating the sweeper truck; walk; stand for periods of time while walking the property; use hands to handle objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, talk and hear. Must be able to endure cold, rain, heat and other elements you face when working outside. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include vision and ability to read documents and a mobile device. Work environment: The person in this position operates on properties at night from a parking lot sweeping truck. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to a noise level that is usually minimal to moderate. Reports To This position reports to the Operations Manager.
