MIG welding of mild steel to produce standard parts with the aid of fixtures an fabricate non-standard fabrications without the aid of a fixture. Position requires the ability to read blueprints and perform layout. This will require the use of measuring tools related to welding to perform fabrication and inspection processes to ensure work conforms to specifications given. Will also require sawing drilling and tapping of raw material. Requires manual dexterity to maneuver equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines. Position requires the desire to accept new challenges and responsibilities relating to skill development Must have at least 3 years welding experience. High school diploma or equivalent is require. Prefer covational/trade school training as well.Prior experience in welding and the ability to read blueprints is a must. Must be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality. Must display good interaction and communication skills. Must be self-directed and show ability to work within a team environment. Must have a sustained record of good attendance.
