Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day activities of all functions at the manufacturing facility. Essential Functions: Lead the manufacturing employees so they are able to meet their goals and deadlines. Follow a schedule so that production goals and shipping deadlines are met. Keep the shop neat, organized and enforce housekeeping rules. Work with Team Leaders so associated employees goals and deadlines are met. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess at least 3 - 5 years of basic experience in a manufacturing environment with 1 - 2 years of hands-on leadership experience. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have a good understanding of shop math, blueprint reading, welding symbols, general welding knowledge and general shop practice. Must have excellent focus and attention to detail with an understanding of Quality Assurance requirements. Must hold organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and coordinate. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Lead by example with excellent communication skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: Team Leaders Work Environment: Manufacturing environment. Noise volume varies from loud to normal.
