Over the past 100 years, we've partneredwith major food marketers to develop innovative pasta solutions, some of which created entirelynew categories of food.We have 2 immediate openings for experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our Maintenancedepartment at our Grand Forks, ND food manufacturing facility. The position will be for the 7:00pm to 7:30 am with an A/B rotating schedule. (3) days one week and (4) the next.Ideal candidates will be team-players with a positive, can-do attitude and who lovemanufacturing. Great opportunity to use your talents and make a difference in taking us to thenext level of performance!Come explore a career with us!SummaryMonitors and maintains smooth plant operation, including production and packaging processes,support systems, and facilities. With little or no supervision, disassembles/assembles, repairs,constructs, overhauls, maintains, and installs all types of new and existing processing andpackaging equipment and conveying, hydraulic and air systems as required. Performs preventiveand predictive maintenance tasks. Responds to calls for service to any line in a timely manner.Independently troubleshoots equipment that is in need of repair or that is operating at asubstandard level. Makes repairs and adjustments in a timely fashion to ensure as little downtimeas possible. Completes required and appropriate paperwork. Performs other tasks as assigned byManagement.Position Requirements• High School Education or GED required• 2 years of experience as an industrial mechanic is required• 1 year of Fabrication skills preferred• 1 year of Welding preferred, wire feed primarily• Ability to read, write and interpret documents• Ability to read electrical schematics a plus• Knowledge of 460 3 phase voltage a plus• Knowledge of electrical controls a plus• Good troubleshooting abilities as well as knowledge of processing operations• Ability to communicate, read and write in English in order to understand and followwork, GMP, and safety instructions• Must be able to work any day and/or shift including weekends and holidays• Must have physical ability and strength to perform assigned tasks• Required to lift and/or carry up to 55 pounds on occasion• While performing the duties of these jobs, employees are regularly required to stand, talk,hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reachwith hands and arms 2/3's of the time• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes thatoccur on the production line• Must be able to perform all the above tasks in an environment with high heat (90 degreesF or greater) and humidity and cold temperature (40 degrees F or lower) at times• Must be able to communicate and work in a team environmentOur company offers a competitive package including vacation, paid holidays, bonus basedon performance, 401(k), health, dental, vision, short term disability, long term disabilityand life insurance benefits.www.philamacaroni.comEqual Opportunity Employer Job Posted by ApplicantPro
