Dining Room Supervisor - Personal Care Masonic Villages at Sewickley is hiring a Dining Room Supervisor in Personal Care . This is a Full Time Day opportunity. What You'll Do: As a Dining Room Supervisor in Personal Care, you will carry out our Mission of Love by s upervising and coordina ting the activities of the Star Points Dining Rooms. You will lead performance improvement projects and provide education and coaching in order to build needed skills in others to lead PIP's. You will identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of data, observation of operations, and consultation with leadership and staff. Our Dining Room Supervisor in Personal Care is responsible for the following: Scheduling for PC staff and any changes to staffing. Supervising PC staff and assisting with supervision of all dietary staff. Preparing and completing all PACs for PC staff. Interviewing and orienting new PC staff and conducting weekly communication meeting for staff. Participating in cycle menu design. Attending production meetings and distributing appropriate information. Executing dietary orders of the Dietitian, processing diet changes and new diets for residents. Conducting kitchen audit. Submitting QI reports to Dietitian. Managing stock to include weekly audits and EOM inventory. Continuing personal and professional growth through current literature, membership in professional organizations and attendance at workshops. Assuring foods are portioned, presented & assembled properly for PC. Completing meal rounds, test trays and spot checks daily in the dining room for PC. Greets all new residents gather information on their food likes and dislikes. Updating the PC diet roster and allergy daily as needed. Contacting person for Special Functions. Attending resident council meeting and responds to resident's concerns. What You Definitely Have: A high school or college graduate or equivalent thereof. Completion of an approved training program to attain proficiency in developing and maintaining high quality of dining services or minimum three years supervisory experience in managing an upscale dining environment. Good written and oral communication and proficient with computer applications. CPR certification required (prior to or upon employment). Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
