Duties and Responsibilities Administrative: Responsible for developing and establishing annual and ongoing performance goals including census targets, staff and resource requirements and other operational needs to ensure the company's primary mission of excellence in patient care. Responsible for admissions, current patient census and the overall financial success of the program. Responsible for timely completion and accuracy of paperwork including reports to the Clinical Director, Executive Management Team, quarterly board meeting reports, payroll, competencies, annual reviews, etc . Responsible for management of staff and interns, facilitating hiring, onboarding, and training, annual and ongoing performance evaluations and reviews, discipline & terminations . Collaborate with EDCare Outreach with referral sources, marketing events, presentations to providers, local universities, etc. Maintains relationships with local universities and graduate programs to continue educational and training opportunities for graduate students. Develops and maintains contacts and associations with potential staff hires and hiring sources . Effective and consistent communication to referral sources and collaborative providers. Adheres to The Joint Commission expectations and requirements. Weekly check in with Clinical Director. Bi-weekly or as needed participation in Manager Meetings and timely submission of Manager Reports . Monthly meetings with EDCare CFO in order to review financial performance of the facility. Available to other members of EDCare management as and when required Other job duties as assigned . Clinical: Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and practice of effective counseling skills. Demonstrates ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients, families, staff, and interns. Manages and participates in weekly and ongoing admissions and discharges. Facilitates program orientation with all incoming patients and families. Orientation includes, but is not limited to, introducing the patient to the milieu environment and reviewing program expectations. Participates in meal therapy with patients in a fashion consistent with EDCare current policies and procedures including eating and modeling appropriate eating behaviors during assigned mealtimes and snacks. Ability to provide clinical coverage when necessary for individual and/or group patient sessions. Ensures ongoing updates to patient's referring providers or therapists. Provides oversight of the patient discharge process in order to assure appropriate care of the patient including notice to referring providers and collaboration where appropriate with patient's future providers. Provides outpatient services to individuals and families. Completes all documentation and necessary paperwork associated with having an outpatient case load, if required by management. Completes peer to peer insurance reviews when necessary. Provides clinical consultations for providers in the community. Staff: Ensures staff coverage for all clinical aspects of programs while providing input and maintain a standard of excellence for patient care. Maintains clinical oversight of all staff in order to assure completion of responsibilities and duties. Reviews timely completion and submission of all documentation in EMR on a weekly basis, i.e., bio/psycho/social assessments, mental status exam, treatment plans, weekly progress notes, aftercare plans, treatment summaries, etc. Facilitates weekly, one-hour supervision meetings for all EDCare staff and interns. Conducts weekly staff meetings. Maintains daily program structure, developing quality measures and solutions for improvement. In collaboration with Clinical Director, maintains and develops group curriculum for programs. Monitors client satisfaction surveys process through questionnaires and complies data. Manages any staff concerns and/or issues while maintaining accessibility and visibility for patients and staff. Program Manager is able to be contacted by staff and interns during evening program hours Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D/PsyD in behavioral health field a must. Licensed or License Eligible as LP, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Colorado required. Experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered clients and adolescents required. Clinical conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis preferred. Good oral and written communication skills a must. Clinical leadership skills a must, minimum of two years' experience supervising others. Experience managing a department strongly preferred. Minimum of beginner skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Intermediate skills are required with Microsoft Outlook.2. Must be able to effectively maneuver within an office scheduling system.3. Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system. Physical Demands and Environment: Physical demands of this job include but are NOT limited to: Sitting frequently, standing occasionally, walking occasionally, talking frequently, hearing frequently, seeing constantly, reaching with arms and hands occasionally, crouching occasionally and using fingers intricately. This position requires lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds occasionally. Environmental conditions of this job include but are NOT limited to: 95% inside, 99% normal temperature and 99% normal noise as expected in a medical office environment.
