This position is eligible for a $40,000 retention bonus ($20,000 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service). Retention bonus prorated based on FTE status. Salary Range Dependent upon qualifications and FTE status: Full-time: $186,597.30 - $298,555.68Part-time: $93,298.65 - $149,277.84 Benefits eligibility includes (but is not limited to): FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE! Position Summary This position provides diagnostic assessment services and the prescription of medications. Facilitates hospitalization when needed. This position works collaboratively with an assortment of programs within Canvas Health, and with its partners. Quali fications Medical degree from a recognized university Active DEA license in Minnesota to prescribe controlled substances Active license to practice medicine in Minnesota and eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities Completion of an Approved General Psychiatry Residency Program with special focus in child/adolescent psychiatry, OR; Completion of an approved Psychiatry Residency Program and an approved Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship" Three years of General Psychiatry Residency in an approved residency program with 2 additional years of a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent treatment, OR ; Four years of Psychiatric residency without a fellowship Preferred Qualifications Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
