To help meet our growing demand, we are currently seeking a PARTS PRO to assist with a number of parts and service job functions, including: parts ordering, parts inventory, returns and restocking, NARDA order research and maintenance, and general customer service duties. Position is FULL-TIME + BENEFITS. Pay starts at $14.50/hr. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working as part of a team and interacting with both staff and customers. Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule to accommodate retail store dynamics (i.e. Saturdays, evenings and overtime on occasion). PLUS FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADVANCEMENT ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develop and maintain procedures to account for all scheduled service orders on a daily basis. Ensure incomplete orders are processed and completed orders are forwarded for finalization. Field in-bound calls from technicians to determine part numbers for service calls. Check voice messages and process part requests from technicians. Responsible for creating Purchase Orders for part orders utilizing the information recorded via the incomplete service NARDAs and counter part orders. All parts must be ordered no later than 12:00pm the following day. Responsible for checking techs routes daily and validating or performing the following functions: Order all requested parts on each NARDA, based on the following: Validate each part has been installed or returned. Change the location of each part to reflect a "Cust" or store location. Input all tech comments into SEOM for each order. Escalate all qualifying part orders with a goal to complete the service within 2 days with no more than 2 attempts. Responsible for communicating part order ETAs for every customer when the arrival date is different from what the technician quoted the customer. Run the Service Fill Report weekly and review all open service orders to identify the following: Orders where all parts have been received, but have yet to be assigned to the TPH tech so that dispatchers can schedule service. Part orders that require escalation due to out of stock conditions, excessive delay in shipment or new product failures. Orders over 30 days so they can be resolved and escalated. Develop and maintain strategies to control IAT (Inventory Audit Trail) inventory levels for "Reserved" inventory at levels at or below $40,000. Work with Inventory to identify parts and quantity levels that qualify to be stocked as "Open Inventory" for counter and technical usage. Audit the Parts Place Holder service orders to ensure all orders are addressed by converting filled orders to TPH status. Assists the Parts Handlers with any ETAs that cannot be easily determined. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a current driver's license in good standing and be insurable through Standard Appliance, Inc. auto insurance underwriter. Prior work experience involving parts ordering and purchasing. Welcoming customer attitude along with the ability to resolve issues logically while working under pressure. Commitment to customer satisfaction. Willing to accept change and quickly respond to new business and job directions. Work each day in a positive, friendly and team oriented manner. Must be detail-oriented. Excellent telephone etiquette. Fluency in English (written & verbal). Basic computer skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, i.e. Saturdays and overtime as needed. Ability to make good decisions, problem solve, use good judgment and follow through. Ability to interact positively with co-workers; assist other departments as needed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 years or more working in the service function of an appliance manufacturer or retailer. Knowledge of appliance parts. Excellent customer service skills, specifically telephone etiquette. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
