Description:
The IT Manager is responsible for providing total IT support to the office and job site users. This position will report to General Manager. Essential Functions: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for desktops, laptops, copiers, printers, desk phones, soft clients, mobile devices, and all other IT-related equipment. Establish internet connectivity at job sites. Install and maintain standard network hardware in coordination with Enterprise IT. Manage the lifecycle of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Online accounts, and local site security permissions. Maintain security permissions for Business Unit file share locations. Triage and troubleshoot issues and complete service requests submitted via the IT Support portal or submitted by other means. Responsible for investigating user issues, identifying, testing, and implementing valid solutions, or escalating to Enterprise IT Support for assistance. Investigate and mitigate end-user, security-related alerts such as viruses, malware, and reported phishing emails. Create how-to's, troubleshooting guides, and system documentation in the knowledge base for the end user's future reference. Support and management of all cellular devices and accounts, including plans and features. Coordinate between the Enterprise IT Teams and the Business Unit users regarding needs, changes, outages, issues and resolutions, IT policies, and other matters. Manage vendor relationships for Business Unit IT hardware, software, consulting contracts, and purchases. Develop yearly IT budgets, and track and manage spending to meet targets. Working with Corporate IT to report the annual budget and monthly actuals during each fiscal year. Maintain confidentiality concerning the information processed, stored, or accessed. Follow and promote company IT policies, cybersecurity, and other IT best practices at all times. Follow organizational policies and procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by management. Position Qualification Requirements Knowledge: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in IT or Computer Science Skills: A highly professional, trustworthy, customer-oriented, cool-tempered team player who has the ability to learn new skills from others and on their own. This individual would possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a basic understanding of Microsoft technologies such as Windows Client and Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Office suite, etc. Understanding of NTFS permissions and best practices. Additionally, the ideal candidate would have excellent written and spoken communication skills with proficiency in English. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Office 365 Administration Familiarity with Azure Active Directory Experience writing documentation Understanding of IT Security Best practices. Experience: 3+ years of work experience in the IT field. Experience supporting office hardware (desktop, laptop, printer, etc.). Experience supporting end users both in-person and remotely, using a ticketing system to manage and support request. Travel and Physical Requirements: Must have a valid drivers license and be able to travel to and from local job sites. Upon occasion, may be required to lift 75lbs, transport computer equipment within an office or field job site setting, work on the floor or under desk, or climb a ladder carrying up to 20lbs.
