Role: Pueo has an opportunity for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to support industrial Control Systems for our customer in Washington, DC. Responsibilities: Develop security engineering requirements, procedures and policies for on-prem, Industrial Control System (ICS), Apply knowledge of industrial equipment and processes to help develop secure network architecture designs, Identify exploitable vulnerabilities that could impact operations, Evaluate systems for cyber risks and remediation activities and design and implement industrial cybersecurity monitoring solutions, Identify COTS/GOTS systems integration issues, security control implementation deficiencies and recommend enhancements to bolstering security posture, Acquire a complete understanding of a customer's technology and information systems, Perform focused vulnerability testing, risk and security assessments using penetration tester mindset, Provide technical supervision for (and guidance to) a security team, Oversee security awareness programs and educational efforts, Test final security structures to ensure they behave as expected, Deliver technical reports and formal papers on test findings, Develop or update security management policies and guides, Attend recurring meetings and provide insight into projects ensuring adherence to current operational guidance as well as implementing improvements to reduce risk of current environment, Serve as liaison and translator between ICS Program Office and CIO Security Division, including Security Control Assessors (SCAs) and Information System Security Managers (ISSMs), Build out and assist in operation of customer's ICS Test Lab, Provide Data Transfer Office (DTO) support for the ICS Network, as needed. Qualifications: Current, active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph, Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in a technical field, Ability to analyze and suggest recommended improvements to industrial control system programs and systems to meet industry standards and best practices, Excellent written and oral communication skills a must, with the ability to work independently or as a member of a team; must be comfortable working with personnel on all levels of an organization, Must possess current DoD 8570 IASAE II certification.
