As a creative youth development organization rooted in art therapy, over 300 youth, ages 8-19, participate in after-school and summer visual and expressive arts groups, digital film school classes, leadership development opportunities, and college and career access programming. When youth attend RAW, they are seen and heard through a refined blend of art and therapy. Staff trained in trauma-informed care offer grounding for youth who have experienced serious adverse childhood experiences. For more information on Raw Art Works, please read more here . About the Opportunity: Program Manager Raw Art Works is seeking a well-rounded Program Manager to join the team. This full-time position requires an experienced Program Manager to provide facilitation and management in outreach, enrollment, evaluations, data gathering & assessment, program operations, and RAW-wide initiatives. This position supports the Program Director in their efforts to lead RAW's program team. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a warm, welcoming manner, patience, and a strong desire to support staff and youth. Candidates should also be detail oriented. This position reports directly to the Program Director. The Program Manager will show a demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice, and will embrace the importance of these initiatives throughout the organization. They will be able to demonstrate emotional intelligence, feedback skills, and the ability to sustain trusted relationships with a wide array of people, including strong communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities Evaluation quality Assurance & Management: Support the Program Director with youth evaluations, including the creation, administration, and analysis of results. Generate reports for staff, funders, and board in the form of regular outputs. Manage and update databases. Effectively uses the Salesforce database and other tools for tracking youth metrics & data related to youth development. Create processes, design workflows, and provide custom solutions for specific program needs. Program enrollment: Field inquiries of those interested in RAW, including schools, organizations, and parents of youth. Track youth enrollment, process applications, and manage the waitlist. Build meaningful relationships with families & students. Work with staff to maintain strong communication with students and families. Evaluate and establish enrollment processes to streamline admissions & ensure that RAW provides a positive user experience to all families and RAW participants while maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. Support recruitment strategies and outreach efforts. Administrative Tasks: Manage operations for programmatic systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision. Assist programs in the capacity that they require: Administrative, database management, etc. Assist in the planning and execution of RAW related events. Develop marketing and promotional materials for programming, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager. Other duties as assigned. Key Competencies The Program Manager will be a professional who demonstrates a strong commitment to RAW's mission, vision, values and strategic plan, and will work collaboratively with a management team of senior professionals. The Program Manager will bring a demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice. Other key competencies include: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to set priorities and limits in order to accomplish tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong team player, continually open to learning and teaching new skills and techniques. Qualifications and Experience Excellent interpersonal skills and embraces cross-cultural values. Ability to show understanding and patience when dealing with staff and the public. High level of proficiency with database management, such as Salesforce Lightning. Excellent word processing and spreadsheet with Microsoft Office and Google Sheets. Excellent oral, written, and artistic communication skills. Ability to work independently and with a team. Exceptional level of personal organization, with strong project/process planning skills. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Able to handle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines without sacrificing quality. We are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm, and commitment, who holds themselves to a high standard of professionalism. This position requires handling sensitive youth data, hence the candidate must maintain confidentiality. Detail-oriented. Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside of regular hours. Must have a valid drivers license. Fluency in a language other than English, especially Spanish, Vietnamese, or Khmer, is highly desired. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is targeted at $65,000-$72,000 based on the candidate's relevant experience. This range falls within our established salary bands for this position.
