We are looking for an HVAC Service Apprentice to join our HVAC Service team This position will be based out of our Auburn, NH location serving southern NH and surrounding areas . We want to make home service exceptional - because serving homeowners is all we do About the Role: As an HVAC service apprentice you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality installations, every time. By working closely with the lead service technician and service manager, you will complete jobs on time and under budget. Other responsibilities include: Assist lead service technician in all HVAC system maintenance and repair; be efficient and accurate Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business Uphold Heritage Apprenticeship Agreement Register and maintain your state gas apprenticeship license Support lead HVAC service technician in maintaining a clean organized job site, work vehicle, and accurate truck inventory Participate actively in all on-the-job training and formal schooling and exercises to master the trade Assist in completing accurate and timely paperwork Uphold company policies and procedures Exemplify professionalism in attitude and conduct Help customers select the right solution and understand warranty information Complete all work in accordance with Heritage Standards and Local Code Collect payment at time of service Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, feedback, and option sheets Begin work on time and be flexible with schedule when needed Qualifications: A valid driver's license and a clean, safe driving record Can pass a drug test and background check Enjoy serving and treating others with respect Possess the desire to learn and grow (both personally and professionally) Strong verbal and written communications Mechanical aptitude Team orientated - you like working with a team to solve problems and accomplish goals Able to prioritize and multitask effectively Quick thinker Highly organized and exceptional follow-through abilities High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections Have a flexible schedule and are able to be on-call and work after normal business hours when needed You enjoy giving back to your community and helping team members in time of need Benefits for the HVAC Apprentice Position: Starting pay of $18-25/hr (depending on experience level) with a schedule for development and wage growth Paid Vacation, Personal, Sick Time Paid Holiday Time Year Round Work (no lay-offs) Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Life, AD&D, Short & Long Term Disability Insurance 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match Profit Sharing Incentive Plan Company Uniforms Company Cell Phone and Tablet Quarterly Tool and Boot Allowance Individual and group development 1:1 Coaching Paid Ongoing Training Educational Allowances/Reimbursement for Field related Courses Company Chaplains Professional, Family Feel Company Events Work Schedule Full Time Positions (40-50) hours per week Must have a flexible work schedule ( will participate in the on-call rotation created by your manager ) Must be able to accommodate start times as early as 6:00am on occasion If you are seeking an opportunity to build a brighter future with people that have a bigger vision for themselves and those they serve, Heritage could be exactly who you're looking for.
