Bilingual Case Manager Catholic Social Services (CSS) in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is starting a new program to provide foster care, treatment and educational services to assist unaccompanied children caught in the humanitarian crisis that has been occurring on our southern borders. Essential Functions: Complete initial assessment of the needs of each child. Development of the initial service plan. Screen for trafficking or other concerns and makes referrals as needed. Perform regular monitoring of assigned foster homes to assure the safety and well-being of the children. Work with the foster families to provide them with support in their care of the children. Work with the family or sponsor to help facilitate a safe and timely release. Attend required trainings. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Ability to be flexible, creative and work in a diverse setting. Demonstrated written and verbal skills. Familiarity with trauma-informed care.
