JOB TITLE: Senior Center Manager PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Center Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the St. Edmond Senior Community Center, which serves approximately 70-80 seniors in South Philadelphia each day with fun programming and a variety of vital services. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for development and implementation of the senior center program and corresponding service objectives/contractual obligations including but not limited to congregate meals, social services, education, socialization, recreation, and health and wellness activities. Supervise senior center personnel. Manage HR functions within the center. Network and market the center among individuals and organizations to maintain client base and community support. Responsible for budgeting, expense and revenue management, and fiscal documentation, all with proper attention to good stewardship of center and organizational resources. Prepare Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA), internal, and other reports and documentation as required. Treat all staff, clients, and community members/visitors with dignity and respect. Maintain the confidentiality of client information. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field (Master's Degree preferred). Minimum of two to five years post-graduate experience in the field of aging. Demonstrated capability in a leadership role.
