Description:

GENERAL DECRIPTION Prepare documentation for the development of cost proposals (obtain supplier quotes, obtain wage determination updates, obtain, and analyze basis of estimates, etc.). Prepare cost proposals utilizing existing pricing models. DUTIES Provide support to Pricing Team to enable proposals are completed and submitted in accordance with customer requirements and schedules. Work with Subject Matter Experts and Program Management in the development of labor Basis of Estimates (BOEs). Develop and maintain pricing files in accordance with USG and company requirements. Obtain/maintain updated wage determination and/or CBA wage tables. Assist in creating cost proposal documentation and back up. Create complete small and large scale, multi-year, cost proposals to include labor, materials, travel, subcontract costs, and other direct costs from existing pricing models according to the customers' RFP/RFQ schedule. Prepare files for management review of cost proposals. Work in a team environment. Provide routine administrative support. Other Duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or similar. Requires 6+ years' experience working knowledge of DoD Contracting to include 3+ years of Government pricing experience. Work experience in DoD proposals, contracts, procurement, and/or finance. Familiar with Bills of Material. ProPricer, Deltek CostPoint and Cognos experience desired. Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of USG purchasing practices and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Part 22, and Part 52.222-41 Service Contract Labor Standards. Knowledge of all contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF and T&M. Skilled in verbal and written communication. Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word. General Computer Skills required We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
