$750 Sign on bonus Tank Holding is a leading plastics manufacturer of bulk storage and handling products serving water, agriculture, material handling, industrial and other end markets. The Company, currently operates 40+ manufacturing plant locations and employs 2000 people throughout North America. Job Summary We are looking for a 1st and 2nd shift Molde r to join the Tank team. This position is responsible for understanding and controlling the operation of our rotational molding equipment. Essential Job Functions The job duties listed below are the fundamental job duties of this position. Failure to perform any one of these duties would substantially alter the nature of the position. Set up and operate molding machine in a safe and efficient manner Ensure good quality parts are being produced Read and follow the molding process sheets, correct any errors and report to supervisor or lead Communicate effectively with trimmers, supervisor, prior and subsequent shifts Organize and clean work area following each shift Stock productive materials appropriately Adhere to safety practices while performing operating tasks Successful use of power tools, hoists, etc. The Molder Operator must understand and perform to standard the following aspects related to this position: Rotational molding process, mold preparation, basic mechanics, and minor maintenance including mold releases, cleaning of parting lines, burn time, temperature, cooling, etc. Characteristics of all standard resins used by their division (knowing what the proper cure is for each material and how to check that cure) Quality standards for each machine (refer to work instructions) Critical dimensions and characteristics of each part and how to check these to maintain consistency How to effectively conduct a first part inspection to approve a set-up Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
