AAMCI is looking for a Janitor/Maintenance Assistant for our 102 unit Section 8 community in Dunbar WV. Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm $14.50 per hour. On call premium The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive. AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Upkeep of all community grounds Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily Assist in preparation of make ready units, including remove trash Painting Light plumbing and electrical Assist maintenance team with snow removal (if applicable) Report any maintenance concerns for resolution Qualifications necessary for success: Ability to self-motivate Valid Driver's License Courteous Physically able to perform all duties required, including but not limited to standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working outdoors Reliable transportation Benefits include medical insurance, company paid employee dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability, and life insurance. Benefits also include Paid Time Off and a 401(k) plan. In the 401(k) plan, employees are eligible after completing one year of employment and reaching an entrance date of January 1 or July 1. Company match is 5%, and employees are vested 100% from the first contribution. Position is also paid annual $100 work boot reimbursement Uniform shirts are provided for each team member.
