AAMCI is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a 40-unit Section 8 community in High Shoals NC. Full time, Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm with premium on call pay. The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive. This position participates in on-call emergency rotation for evening, weekends, and Holidays, and pays a premium rate of pay for each call out. AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: Perform preventive maintenance Diagnose mechanical problems Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices Complete work orders Order parts as necessary Recording type and cost of repair work Qualifications necessary for success: HVAC Certified Driver's license Ability to adhere to work safety program Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather Benefits include medical insurance, company paid employee dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability, and life insurance. Benefits also include Paid Time Off and a 401(k) plan. In the 401(k) plan, employees are eligible after completing one year of employment and reaching an entrance date of January 1 or July 1. Company match is 5%, and employees are vested 100% from the first contribution. Position is also paid annual $100 work boot reimbursement Uniform shirts are provided for each team member.
