Job Description: This position is best suited for a dynamic, energetic person who is eager to learn about Accelerating Innovators by assisting in the program's implementation. The position will be working closely with our team to assist in the coordination processes between the Larry H and Gail Miller Entrepreneur Center (EC) and the Southwest Technical College Business & Innovation Center (BIC), capture data, assist with client intake and counseling, and attend various meetings.To be successful, the person hired should be detail-oriented and highly organized. The position will be involved in upcoming events as well as assisting with start-up counseling, campaigns and programs under the grant. Daye first of consideration: 04/21/2023 Duties and Responsibilities: Coordination of the BIC's cohorts with SUU's Entrepreneurship Speaker Series. Coordination of the BIC's cohorts with SUU's pitch competitions and investor day competition. Assist with BIC cohort clients resource connections and referrals. Perform outreach at a supervisor's request. Curate and post to various social media platforms. Fulfill tasks set out by supervisor. Attend coordination meetings between BIC and EC. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in and around start-up companies preferred. Experience in event planning preferred. Highly organized and conscientious. Eager to work with various departments in the EC and BIC. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Google productivity apps.
