The Tennessee Credit Union is seeking a Business Development Supervisor to serve in our Marketing Department. The Business Development Supervisor will represent the Credit Union in enlisting business groups, educational groups, health care groups, or other sectors and individuals. Coordinate events to increase participation within existing and new member groups. Perform these responsibilities in a manner that promotes an exceptional member experience. Day-to-day job duties include: Provide input on business development aspects of the annual marketing plan and budget. Represent and promote the Credit Union to potential and current SEGs through presentations, meetings, and individual consultation, utilizing media suited to the group. Develop contacts and serve as primary contact within business, education, health care, or other community groups as designated. Manage the correspondence and direct marketing programs to membership groups. Serve as liaison between new groups and Credit Union departments and offices. Research, plan, schedule, and execute teacher in-services, business expos, conferences, and other community events. As directed, assist with or manage special projects such as new branch openings or other events, promotions or sponsorships. Provide reports of business contacts, meetings, or presentations. This position will be based out of our Main Office in Nashville, TN. Office hours are generally Monday - Friday: 8:00a 6:00p. Compensation : Begins at a minimum of $63,000 annual salary. Observance of Credit Union policies and procedures. Good listening and presentation skills; articulate speaker; confident, approachable personality. Cooperative attitude with other employees; team player; good negotiation skills a plus; conciliatory attitude with member groups and their representatives. Exemplary behavior and appearance as representative of Credit Union. Above-average skills in both verbal and written communications (in English) essential; communication skills in other languages also desirable. Ability to work in a non-smoking environment. Travel required on regular basis. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to us a computer for long periods of time. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required Two years' experience in sales or marketing preferred, with minimum of one year as supervisor or group leader.
