Project Engineer Signal Mitigation Systems (SMS) SI2 Technologies' (SI2) mission is to enable our country's warfighters to win by providing solutions to RF and survivability challenges. SI2 is currently seeking a "hands on" Project Engineer to lead and develop the manufacture of coatings and/or formulations. Job Description: The Project Engineer will lead the integration of new materials in the manufacturing and characterization of conformal flex hybrid electronic (FHE) structures, systems operations, and manage other technical process documentation while implementing continuous improvements within the manufacturing process. Examples of some specific tasks include: Project and product risk and mitigation plans trials, investigations, and analyses. Write project proposals, technical documents and presentations, project plans and work authorization documents. Participate and monitor development of project budgets including labor, materials, and third-party vendors and resources. and defining the technology roadmaps. Coordinate equipment and tooling maintenance Required Education and Experience: U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. MS with 5+ years or a PhD with 3+ years' "hands on" experience leading the development and/or manufacture of coatings or formulations as a project, process, or product engineer. Expertise developing and maturing new and legacy processes and materials to manufacture and characterize conformal flex hybrid electronic (FHE) structures. Leadership in the integration of new materials to manufacture and characterize conformal flex hybrid electronic (FHE) structures and implementation of continuous improvement in manufacturing process, systems operations, and other technical process documentation. Desired Experience: Inkjet Micro-pen Aerosol jetting of printed conformal flex hybrid electronic (FHE) RF structures Roll-to-roll technology including application, web handling, and curing.
