Description: The Production Planner maintains work order production plans and performance-to-plan statistics to assure product needs of our customers and organizational goals are met. Qualifications: Four (4) or more years of MRP Production scheduling and planning experience Associates degree in business, preferred Four years of experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Routing & Inventory Control Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving skills Responsibilities: Establishes daily, weekly and monthly production schedules in advance and provides to executive leadership. Publishes and distributes master and individual resource schedules weekly to production lines. Maintains daily, weekly and monthly production "performance-to-plan" data. Ensures available to promise (ATP) accuracy. Reports on data to leadership. Enters and maintains Resource Capacity data in MRP system. Generates Resource Capacity reports and provides to leadership. Establish ship dates in the MRP system for special project orders and resolve unusual ATP issues. Coordinates and communicates revised schedules to production floor in the event of unexpected delays. Assists in resolving WIP, component stock and finished goods balance discrepancies through research. Serve as a back up to Production Supervisors and Director of Production and Distribution, as needed.
