STAFF ACCOUNTANT Are you an experienced, results-driven property accounting professional? If so, Store Space Self Storage is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join our team in Winter Garden, FL . This position earns an annual salary starting from $60,000 based on experience. We provide excellent employer-paid benefits where the company covers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. A DAY IN THE LIFE As a Staff Accountant, you are responsible for preparing and closing financial entries for monthly review, completing bank account and balance sheet reconciliations daily, and analyzing/reviewing general ledger accountants to prepare for audits. Using strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills, you will contribute to achieving 100% accuracy for all financial reporting to the business. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A STAFF ACCOUNTANT 2+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience with Microsoft Great Plains (GP) preferred Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Office suite Strong data analytics, computer, and typing skills Familiarity with the commercial real estate, construction/development, or multi-family/multi-unit accounting is a plus but not required. Experience with pivot tables and lookups is preferred as well. You'll need to work independently with confidence, meeting all assigned deadlines on or before due dates with minimal errors. Also, a team player, collaborator, and willing to learn. WORK SCHEDULE This accounting position is full-time and onsite . Our typical office hours are between 8:30am - 6:00pm.
