Senior Human Resources Business Partner John KnoxVillage Be a trusted advisor and strategic thought-partner to management by providing expertise and guidance on all aspects of people management. Collaborate with management to develop and execute HR plans that support the achievement of JKV's business objectives. Partner with Recruiting to attract, hire, and onboard top talent. This is a critical role in ensuring that JKV remains an employer of choice and a great place to work. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to management on all people-related matters. Understand the business strategy and how it translates into workforce requirements and talent needs. Provide leadership and guidance on organizational design, change management, and culture initiatives. Create/Facilitate Training and Development programs, with a focus on Red Carpet (hospitality), Sensitivity/Inclusivity (LGBT), Green House, and Management Development. Manage the Performance Management program, including effective outcomes with management team. Provide management with appropriate HR metrics and support their efforts to improve the metrics. Create and manage an Internship Program. Oversee the Compensation Program. Manage and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner. Serve as a coach and mentor to employees and managers. Provide HR On The Move services. Develop and implement programs to improve employee engagement and retention. Oversee the performance management process with your management group and provide feedback and coaching to employees and managers. Respond to and manage unemployment claims for assigned departments. Manage the HR Administrative Assistant. Ensure HR compliance, including AHCA surveys. Create and participate in Employee Recognition programs. Perform other duties as specified. POSITION SKILL REQUIREMENTS Education and Work Experience Bachelor's and Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 15+ yrs experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 yrs in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies. Extensive knowledge of employment law and compliance issues. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Familiarity with HRIS systems, ADP preferred. Experience working in a Hospitality and/or Health Care organization. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
