OVERVIEW- WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE Job Title : Warehouse Associate Reports to : Warehouse Supervisor Department: Supply Chain Direct Reports: None Location : Lynbrook, NY FLSA Category : Non-exempt DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for assisting drivers with loading and unloading trucks, checking-in product, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to the appropriate personnel. All information will be recorded in company database. Physical inventory will need to be counted from time-to-time. REQUIREMENTS - WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE High school diploma or GED Must have experience with plumbing pipes, valves, and fittings SALARY AND BENEFITS $17.35-$20/hr.
