Description The Electronic Health Record Scanner serves as an intermediary to transfer and scan the paper health record into the electronic medical record. The ROI Clerk verifies validity of requests before submission of records and acts as Health Information Management team's receptionist. Hours of typical operation are M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Requirements Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Licensure/Certification/ Experience: Health related experience, preferred. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred. Background in EHR systems, preferred. Proficient in reading and understanding medical documents, medical terminology, and patient accounts. Requires knowledge of and is expected to follow hospital policies.
