Description:
Responsibilities Will be responsible for most the of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages Routing materials to prescribed storage locations Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials Examining store materials and reporting deterioration and damage, Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. Drive box van to deliver/pick-up items as needed. Drive forklift, ensuring items are delivered/stored correctly. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Some assignments may require occasional heavy lifting Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent. Legally eligible to work in the US. Able to read and interpret any documentation related to the function of the position. Skills The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills: Good time management skills Effective and verbal listening communications skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Very effective organizational skills Effective written communications skills Professionalism & Team Work Personal Attributes Be honest and trustworthy Be respectful Be punctual Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity Be flexible Be a self-starter Demonstrate sound work ethics Be motivated Additional Notes Must pass background & drug screen Must have clean driving record & current drivers license.
