Our CMCA Head Start Childcare Center needs caring Teacher Assistants in Laddonia to make a positive impact in children's lives. Help children 3 to 5 years old develop social skills, improve sensory motor skills, engage them in learning experiences like water play, cultural food activities, and expressing big feelings through art. Head Start makes things better in and outside of the classroom. Requires a HS diploma or GED. Prefer CDA or related associate degree, with 1 year experience working with preschool age children. Part-time, 20 hours a week, Tuesday through Friday. $13 to $14 per hour based on qualifications. Flexible schedule, meals provided, generous paid time off, and opportunities for advancement. EOE. Help with individual and small group activities. Ensure children are safe and goals are met. Use positive reinforcements to guide good behavior.
