Position Summary CAD Technicians produce the product that is the heartbeat of our design process. Key Roles: Research Recorded Document Drafting Permit Drawing Comprehend Bearings and Distances Essential Job Functions: Researching recorded documents, drafting complex permit drawings, and providing quality control Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings Revising and updating existing drawings, reflecting design changes as needed With great attention to detail, reviewing blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation Keeping track of document notes, design calculations, and other materials for future reference Maintaining open dialogue with the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, within budget, and mistake-free Skills and Abilities Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to pay attention to detail; be reliable, accountable, and self-motivated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain accuracy and prioritize deadlines Ability to remain discrete with confidential information Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Advanced computer skills with programs such as Excel, Access, and Outlook Understanding of civil engineering codes Well-versed in AutoCAD design software Knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts, practices, and procedures Knowledge of Microstation, Small World, and ESRI GIS platforms Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Work Location: Fullerton, CA Job Posted by ApplicantPro
